Neepa Shah’s approach to financial planning is informed and holistic: get to know your clients and their financial goals in-depth before charting up a plan that best suits their current and future needs.

As a successful financial planner in the Bay Area, Neepa has strong understanding of various financial scenarios, including stock options and other perks of Silicon Valley employment. She uses this knowledge competently as she addresses gaps and opportunities in clients’ financial portfolios.

Neepa has been deeply vested in personalized financial management for clients since 2009. Riding the rough waves of the dot-com bust, Neepa learned one important lesson: an engineering degree doesn’t protect you from financial disaster. As she watched smart, educated friends and acquaintances reel from inadequate financial preparation, she realized that it was her own analytical acumen, money-sense, and planning that had seen her through the spiraling economy.

She set aside a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, and decided to put her financial strengths to work by helping intelligent professionals in need of financial guidance. Working in the methodical style that defines her approach, she first earned an MBA in Finance and then joined a reputed financial services firm that served as a launch pad for her currently successful career. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses.

Neepa’s calm and patient disposition instills confidence and reassurance in clients as they navigate a stressful part of planning their future financial security.

She lives and works in the Bay Area. In her free time, she explores local trails on bike and foot; spends time with friends and family; pursues creative adventures in oil painting; and enjoys a good read whenever the opportunity presents itself.
